This week we got the pleasure of interviewing Wayne Crane, Director of Marketing and Programming at Surrender Nightclub. Wayne is the go to guy if you're looking to have a good time in Vegas; but what exactly does he do and how has he accomplished such success in Las Vegas nightlife? Lets see what he has to say!

1) How do you choose your talent? And, what sets Surrender apart from the rest of the nightclubs, that the largest talent in the world loves playing at your venue?
I am a connoisseur of music; I try to keep my ear to the streets to determine what people like and are in to. I'll never forget when we signed Skrillex to his residency...So many people told me that it would never work, that it was a horrible idea and that we would regret it. Well, I think we all know how that ended (Grammy cough, Grammy cough). Surrender is an EDM destination, and people come to Surrender knowing that we have the best EDM talent in the world. When the crowd is 100% into a show, the artist just feeds off of the energy creating a great home for the EDM DJ's.

2) When did you begin working with Surrender Nightclub and why Surrender?
I started with Surrender in the Spring of 2010. I decided on Surrender because it was new and at the Wynn Hotel. Do I need to say anymore?

3) Describe what your daily job functions are as a Marketing and Programming Director.
This is the million dollar question that everyone always asks, "What do you actually do?" So for that reason I am going to continue to leave it a mystery.

4) What makes you the best Director of Marketing and Programming in Las Vegas?
Stay true to yourself and stay humble. I see way too many people get caught up in the glitz and glamour of the Vegas nightlife scene and it's a sad thing to witness.
